Consultant
Elise is a third-generation family business member who is passionate about helping families navigate the complexities of family relationships, business ownership and continuity. Having worked as a project manager in her own family’s business, she understands first-hand the unique opportunities and challenges that come with being part of a family enterprise. This experience shapes her approach to family advisory, bringing a practical perspective and a deep appreciation for the relationships, values and shared purpose that support successful family enterprises.
Prior to joining Trella Advisory Group, Elise spent eight years at PwC Canada in its Family Enterprise Services practice, working with enterprising families to navigate family, ownership and business dynamics. She also helped relaunch Canada’s NextGen Connect program, reflecting her passion for supporting the next generation of family business leaders.
Elise believes that strong family relationships are at the heart of lasting family enterprise success. She works with families to strengthen communication, build trust and create space for dialogue across generations. Drawing on her experience as both a family business member and an advisor, Elise brings a holistic perspective to her work, helping families navigate differing perspectives, find alignment and build the capacity to move forward together.
Elise holds the Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) designation, an Advanced Family Advisory Certificate from the Kellogg School of Management, a certificate in Conflict Coaching from the Justice Institute of British Columbia, a certificate in Prosci Change Management and the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation.
Outside of work, Elise enjoys travelling, exploring new places and spending time with family and friends. She is happy to call Toronto home.
