Kathy McLaughlin is a governance advisor, strategic planning facilitator, executive recruiter, and coach for boards, CEOs, and leadership teams. She brings expertise in strategy, organizational design, and board governance across family enterprises, private and public companies, nonprofits, and co-ops.

Kathy supports governance reviews, board development, and strategic planning, often serving as facilitator, advisor, or interim Chair. Skilled in conflict resolution, she guides teams through complex issues and collaborative planning to achieve clear goals and roles.

On the personal front, Kathy is a three-time cancer survivor and grateful recipient of two liver transplants, a hip replacement and a pacemaker. She has written a bestselling book about her personal health journey – Back to Life, the proceeds of which are donated to the many health organizations that helped her through those years.  Kathy has served twice on the Board of InspireHealth Cancer Support, most recently as chair, and was a founding director of Healingandcancer.org. Â
